Service Description
This 30-hour classroom course meets the Arkansas Real Estate Commission (AREC) post-licensure requirement for newly licensed brokers. Arkansas brokers must complete this training within six months of their initial license date to stay compliant. The course covers essential topics such as brokerage management, contracts, Arkansas real estate laws, and best practices to help you succeed as a broker. Cancellation Policy
Attendance Policy: All courses will start on time. The students will sign in at the beginning of class, after lunch and sign out at the end of the day. Records of attendance will be kept with the student's transcripts. Course hour is measured in fifty-minutes, with 10-minute breaks per hour. All students must meet the requirements of the hours being offered and attend all the time required. Any student who is more than 10 minutes late for any class will have to make up one (1) hour. Partial credits are not offered, and to make up missed time will require attendance of another class, or as directed by the Principal Instructor. Any time missed will have to be made up for the student to receive a certificate of completion for the course. Cheryl Gentry Real Estate Academy will file with the AREC for each class completed, but it is highly recommended that the student maintains a copy of the completion certificate in case of any errors in reporting by the school. The Arkansas Real Estate Commission maintains that the student is responsible for notifying the AREC of completion of any courses completed. Payments, Refund & Cancellation Policy All payments are final once received by Cheryl Gentry Real Estate Academy. No student will be allowed to attend a course prior to full receipt of payment for the course without prior approval. Any returned checks will be charged $35 as a return check fee. In the event of an emergency, please call the Principal Instructor (Cheryl Gentry) and we will work to apply that payment to an available future course that is scheduled. If a course must be cancelled by the instructor for an emergency or for weather, a refund or credit toward future courses will be offered. We will send out an email the night before the course if the weather is questionable. We encourage students to make good judgement not to attempt to attend class if it is unsafe based on weather. Please allow two weeks for processing of refunds. Participation and Materials Laptops, tablets & cell phones are allowed as long they are not a distraction to the student or others in class. Any student found to be using their electronic devices for purposes other than classroom purposes during class will be asked to discontinue their use or not be able to receive their completed certificate The breaks during the day will allow all students to use their electronic devices and conduct business if necessary.
